VTC began over 30 years ago as the Virtual Training Company, helping professionals around the world learn software and technical skills at a time when high-quality training was difficult to access. For decades, VTC built a reputation for clear instruction, practical learning, and trusted educational content.

Technology has changed — and so has the way people learn.

Much of VTC's original course library reflects the tools and workflows of its time. Rather than pretend otherwise, we see this as an opportunity to rebuild VTC for the modern era — not as a static video library, but as a living training platform.

Today, VTC is evolving through a strategic partnership with Posif, a modern group-centric platform designed for creating, managing, and distributing learning experiences. Together, VTC and Posif enable authors, organizations, and communities to create up-to-date training content that can be customized, extended, and managed at the group level.

Authors can publish and maintain their courses while sharing in revenue. Groups — such as companies, schools, or learning communities — can adapt content to their own needs, add context, notes, and updates, and manage access for their users. Training is no longer one-size-fits-all; it becomes something living, collaborative, and continuously improved.

VTC's role is to provide the trusted brand, educational heritage, and learner reach. Posif provides the infrastructure that makes modern learning possible — flexible, modular, and designed around real communities rather than anonymous viewers.
